Summer 2013 Adult Formation Opportunities
Sundays at 9:00am – June 16 – August 11:
Several of our Adult groups will discuss “Adventures in Acts” (Acts 13-28). This study ties in with our VBS-related mission theme of Paul’s missionary journeys (“This Way to Rome”).

~ Koinonia & Prime Time (The Forum) – Adventures in Acts. Note these classes are combined for the summer.
~ Connections (Room 205) – Adventures in Acts
Threshold (Room 203) – A conversation in English about the sermon text crafted especially for English Language Learners
~ Spanish Bible Study (Room 202) – A study of each week’s sermon text in Spanish
~ Front Porch Class (Living Room) – Study of traditional Protestant church practices using the book Pagan Christianity: Exploring the Roots of Our Church Practices.

Wednesdays at 7:00pm – May 29 – August 14:

~ “That the World May Know” (Chapel) – Faith lessons based on the Focus on the Family video series. Historian Ray Vander Laan travels to Bible lands and shares historical context and its significance to modern believers.
~ Book Discussion (selected weeks) – Pat Graham will lead discussions of two important books that have implications for the church and our Christian walk: The Righteous Mind by Jonathan Haidt (June 5 & 12) and Coming Apart by Charles Murray (July 10 and 17).
~Women’s Bible Reading Group (Room 203)
~Spiritual Leadership – A study led by the northlake Elders for the Men’s Bible Reading Group (The Forum)
