Philippians & the Tapestry of Northlake: An Adult Formation Study

Tapestry2Philippians & the
Tapestry of Northlake:
An Adult Formation Study
April-May, 2013

As Northlake celebrates its 55th anniversary this year, some of our Sunday morning adult classes will consider the story that God is weaving in our individual lives, as well as our lives together as a congregation. A study of Philippians will be the basis for discussion for “the Northlake story”- the one that brought us here, and that God continues to write as we move forward in faith.

We’ll use the analogies of “tapestry” and “fabric” in this study. Tapestries are characterized by complicated pictorial designs, while the word “fabric” in the Greek means “to form or shape”. The Northlake tapestry is rich, but not yet finished. God “…who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion” (Philippians 1:6, NIV).

Please join one of the following classes,
which meet Sundays at 9am:

~ Koinonia (The Forum) – Philippians & the Tapestry of Northlake
~ Prime Time (Chapel) – Philippians & the Tapestry of Northlake
~ Connections (Room 205) – Philippians & the Tapestry of Northlake
~ Threshold (Room 203) – A conversation in English about the sermon
text crafted especially for English Language Learners
~ Spanish Bible Study (Room 202) – A study of each week’s sermon text
in Spanish
