Wow! It’s been a fun week at VBS- Very unusual, but lots of fun!
See just a few of the highlights of the week in our slideshow below:
Thanks go out to all our amazing volunteers who prepared materials ahead of time and those who led during the week! It was a team effort & a labor of love!
If you weren’t able to participate this week, there’s a bag (or a box for our larger families) with your name on it near the church office door. Pick it up whenever you can and use the guides inside & the online resources to enjoy your version of VBS 2020! (If you don’t find yours, let Crystal O’Neal know and you’ll get a special delivery!)
You can find our online lesson guides & resources here:
For our families who did participate in VBS this week, I challenge you to look through your materials and work on something you didn’t have time for this week: watch some of the online materials on the pages listed above, reread the story of The Good Samaritan in Luke 10:25-37 together, decorate your bags and pack them to keep in your car for people in need, mix up a batch of chalk paint & share some words of encouragement to shine a light in your neighborhood, or visit someone in your neighborhood or from the church directory for a yard visit or to chalk their driveway!
Let’s remember the love God has for people- each of us & our neighbors too! Let’s be transformed by our love for God. Let’s GO out into the world and make disciples by our actions & our words, remembering Jesus’ promise to be with us always.
What will this look like in your life? Dream big!
