Daily Chapel: Paul (Day 5)

For today’s Daily Chapel, Paul invites us to reflect on the Creator as the source of all life. He refers us to Jesus’ own use of natural metaphor to describe the interconnectedness of the God, Jesus and people (John 15). Paul introduces us to the prayerful practice of writing haikus. Haikus are simple poems that include three lines of 5-7-5 syllables. Haikus often draw on nature for inspiration, and Paul creates space for us to explore God’s revelation in the natural world as we reflect on the beautiful future Jesus promises us. 🌿🐠🌺🌵🦚🐚🐝🌈🦋🌊

Here is an example:
Wisdom’s movement
revealed in all living
creating justice

(Couldn’t decide if the apostrophe “s” in the first line was a syllable. Don’t be too hard on yourselves. Be free in expressing yourself!)
