Daily Chapel: Paul (Day 4)

In today’s Daily Chapel, Paul reflects on Jesus’ parable of wineskins and its intersection with the power of Jesus transformative justice.

“No one sews a piece of unshrunk cloth on an old cloak, for the patch pulls away from the cloak, and a worse tear is made. Neither is new wine put into old wineskins; otherwise, the skins burst, and the wine is spilled, and the skins are destroyed; but new wine is put into fresh wineskins, and so both are preserved.”

This reflection on the justice movement of Jesus inspires the rehearsal of a familiar spiritual sung in the church and the Black Freedom Movement in the US during the 1950s & 60s. Music is often a practice that connects us to the movement of Jesus. Share your a song that connects your spirit to Jesus’ justice movement in the comments ⬇️
