A 10-day study of God’s idea of how his followers can live together effectively in community. Eugene H. Peterson will be our guide as we listen to excerpts from his book, Christ Plays in Ten Thousand Places.
The 10 Commandments (literally “10 Words”) are presented in the section of the book about community; we’ll look at a new “Word” each day. The videos usually last about one minute, except longer for Day 1 and Day 10. Scripture is from Deuteronomy 5:6-21.
9th Word: In Deut. 5:20 we are shown that words are sacred; lies and gossip injure the community.
