📦 CARES ACT FOOD DISTRIBUTION SATURDAY 12-2p 📦
The City of Tucker has received additional funding through the CARES Act, and has partnered with NETWorks to distribute these funds to help people affected by the pandemic.
NETWorks has responded in the following ways:
1. They have opened a temporary satellite office for the extra programs, and have added several staff members to handle the financial requests and schedule mobile food pantries.
2. Financial Assistance is available to residents of the City of Tucker. The qualifications and online application can be found at www.networkscoop.org/tuckercares. All applications will be followed up by a case manager.
3. Mobile Food Pantries are being scheduled, and Northlake Church has partnered with them as a distribution location.
The next mobile food pantry is THIS Saturday, November 14, from 12:00-2:00pm, here at Northlake. They need help getting the word out, AND about 20 volunteers are needed.
Approximately 400 “Farm to Families” boxes of mixed produce, dairy, and protein will be available. Food will be distributed on a “first come, first served” basis until 2:00pm, or until all the food has been distributed.Thank you so much for your faithful support of our neighbors struggling this year.
