On Friday June 17th, social media quickly brought us the happy news from Kyle and Bety Huhtanen in Honduras of the healthy arrival of their second daughter, Emily Bryanna Huhtanen. Emily weighs 8 pounds and is beautifully formed by her creator and Bety is doing well. Big sister Mia looks at baby sister in wonder, then with complete disengagement, so says her daddy. Good times are coming. Suzie McCluggage, Doris Clark, and Sharon Kemp will coordinate a gift shower for the new baby. Please watch for further news.

For newcomers, let us explain that the Huhtanen family are missionaries sponsored by the Northlake Church for their work with Mission Predisan and Christ’s church in Catacamas. Bety is native to Catacamas and Kyle has served in Honduras for over 12 years. He is the International Coordinator with Mission Predisan and their family is active with a small group of young Christians.
Kyle is a soccer afcionado and is quick to join in any game with visiting short term mission groups, as well as with the locals! Wonder if the girls will be soccer players?
